NPR interviewed Dr. Paul Ehrlich, co-author of The Dominant Animal: Human Evolution and the Environment, about the current dangers to biodiversity and what that means for the planet. He said that if we care anything about our children and grandchildren’s world, we need to mobilize as if we’re in another world. He criticizes the current political discourse about the environment as being fixated on simply drilling for more oil.
